You might or might not have noticed, but I think a lot in images. What’s even better, I experience images. It’s a phenomenal gift I have been given by Spirit, and I do not take it for granted, especially because this place, our Center for Higher Consciousness that we call Zenquility, started with a vision.
When I say “vision,” I don’t mean it in the business sense. I mean it in the literal sense. Here’s what happened.
If you have known me long enough, you know Zenquility began as a home-based business at my Gainesville residence, where I offered massage and Reiki. Then one day, as I was meditating, the vision for something bigger came to me.
I saw a cloud over Gainesville – not a dark cloud, but a white, shining cloud. It was a lovely cloud. It was meant for everyone in the Gainesville area who was seeking a place to belong, and I was asked to be the one who birthed it into being. And so I reached up, and I took a part of the cloud into myself. I felt that cloud inside, and it was a glorious thing.
Time passed, as time does, and I continued on with Zenquility as I had been. I practiced massage and Reiki and held meetups. I burned incense and offered reading material and played soothing music. I practiced my daily spiritual routines and worked on growing myself personally. But something was askew.
I had been feeling shame. Why? Because I had been holding myself back. And therefore, I was holding back all of the people who were the reason the cloud had formed.
I had ignored the vision and the call, and now I had this dark “thing” sitting inside me, called shame.
Now shame is something that I do not take lightly, and in order to rid myself of this negativity, I knew what I had to do. I had to get out of my own way and act on the call. (Action is the remedy for fear, shame and any other negative emotion you want to break through; when those emotions have paralyzed you, energy healing can help you get moving again.)
At first, my vision was not as clear as it is today. I thought I was simply going to open up a shop where people could purchase crystals and other spiritual items. But it slowly dawned on me that something bigger was growing, without my having to really plan it, market or advertise it. People are coming to Zenquility when they are ready to search for or to reach the next level of consciousness. It has been a bit of a “Field of Dreams.” I believe we really do have a full-blown Center for Higher Consciousness that we can open to anyone who feels called to visit.
And that’s where we are currently, folks. Zenquility has been plucked from the clouds and planted here in Gainesville, Virginia, right on John Marshall Highway.
Now, I ask you to celebrate with me! Please join us for our grand opening and ribbon cutting, which runs from August 25 through August 27, 2016. During this time, you will have the opportunity to explore our expanded space and experience how we can support your journey into higher consciousness. Along with me, our very own Androniki Michael and Karen Davis King will offer what we’ve heard people ask for – something different, something spiritual and perhaps, something life-altering.
