Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is the therapeutic application of hypnosis as a way of changing habits, whether eliminating unwanted habits or creating wanted habits - and often both, replacing unwanted with wanted.

During hypnosis, you and your practitioner identify the changes you want to make and work with your subconscious mind to make them, getting to the core of why you have those habits (or lack thereof) in the first place. 

When used therapeutically, hypnosis enables you to tap into your own healing powers by calming the chatter in your mind and focusing your awareness where it's needed.

Here are examples of what hypnotherapy can be used for:

  • reducing anxiety (examples, public speaking, driving, difficult conversations with someone, socializing, etc)
  • weight reduction (understanding the cause of emotional eating)
  • conflict resolution (internal struggles that may cause you to be stuck or indecisive)
  • assertiveness training (opportunity to feel grounded and in charge of your life)
